(Old) My Emulators (7 Viewers)

thanks eyepop... ok memcards now work with fullpath but there is no where to configure the full path of savestates... there is no ini or cfg file. Im running v 1.52 as 1.6 has bugs.

Any ideas?

For the next version I wa thinking of making the plugin work with Mediaportal Installer, but I have some serious trouble finding out how to do that. Can anyone point me in the right direction where to start?

Dont know how to do that. You should ask somewhere else.
What will be new in the next version? Will i be able to start PC-Games? I think this should be easy to do.

Is there a list of what emulators work best with this plugin? I'm trying to get NES going with NESTEN but it keeps the menu bar on the top no matter what I try to do.

A list of NES, SNES, Genesis (mega drive) GB and GBA emulators and any tricks to get them to work would be amazingly helpful.

I have ready all the way through this thread as I am a newbie and have just built my HTPC.

It will be used for games, not just tv and video.

that would be VERY good indeed. Would it be possible to get it to launch games from an instalation folder of some kind.

I would have thought gaming would have been a MAJOR feature of media portal. Seems that most just use there HTPC for tv, video and music.

Hey there everyone, building my first HTPC, and this was the first plugin i have installed. Love it, currently have some project64, and zsnes. Im going to get some nes going aswell. I have no major issues yet, and very few complaints. Only one issue so far (and not the emulators fault) is that when i hit power on my mce remote, zsnes doesnt close, but works for project64. I just use the l2 to close the emulator. I have had some issues with the box art, but i dont really care that much to get it working.
