Hi guys,

Can an old rusty Digital TV Antenna on the roof cause signal glitches? For example you are watching live tv and every say 30 seconds randomly you get a split second pause in the picture and the sound. The glitches are also recorded. If you watch the glitch and then rewind and play again the glitch is in the exact same spot, so it is definitely recorded and not a playback issue.

Thanks in advance ;)

    Yes, if your aerial and/or cabling to the tuner are not in the best condition you may see glitches of the type that you've described.

    Hi mm1352000,

    Thanks for the lightning response! I think it is the antenna as I have tested everything else...Im going to go buy one today :)

    Thanks again for your help.[DOUBLEPOST=1378786317][/DOUBLEPOST]Would you also know if a device like (dual tuner usb dongle) is capable of recording two transponders at the same time? I currently have the dongle gold version that I can record say two channel 7 channels at the same time and also watch a third channel on the same transponder from the single tuner dongle gold usb stick.

    Thanks again :)

    I responded in the other thread where you asked this question. ;)

    Answer = yes. :)

    single tuner => timeshift/record one transponder
    dual (two) tuner => timeshift/record two transponders

    Your current USB stick (gold) is a a single tuner; the other one you mentioned (dual) has two tuners.
