One single of the channels on my DVB-C can be recorded but not watched live, nor can the recording be watched correctly. Usually, when trying to watch it live, it just freezes after the first or some frames. Same for recordings. In some cases it seems to continue playing but without any sound.

The recording gives no specific issues and can be played back perfectly with VLC. In Mediaplayer, from a very quick test, it would seem I have the same as in MP: either it freezes or it plays without sound.

In the test from the attached logs I did the folllowing:
  1. Tried to watch live TV for a few seconds, then stopped
  2. Recorded the channel for a few seconds then stopped the recording
  3. Tried to play back the recording

This particular recording did play but without the sound. Since the recorded file is quite small, I'll upload it here too (tried, but forum does not accept it. If usefull, I will make it available tomorrow from ftp). I can do any extra testing required, given some time :D

I can provide a longer recording if needed.

Aside from this, I am a very happy user of 1.0.1 and so is the girlfriend, she grew almost used to watch her recordings in VLC...

I actually believe I should have put this in the bug report section. Can anyone move it ?
