I didn't say that it doesn't work, all I am sayinig is, that WMP will also use directshow for FLV playback, so WMP buffering options do not apply. Meaning playback of FLV in MePo and in WMP is the same.

i know this is going to sound like a dumb question, but for the life of me, i can't get OnlineVideos to show up in my main menu..

i've installed the latest version on MP 1.0.2. i'm using StreamedMP skin. it shows up in my MP Config under Plugins, and is enabled. but when i open MP, i don't see it anywhere. it does show up under Browse Plugins > My Extensions, but that's only options to uninstall and reinstall.

can someone tell me what i'm missing? i don't see it available in the StreamedMP Basic Home Generator either.

In Configuration, set OnlineVideos not to be in Home but in Extensions (context menu). After that it will be und my extensions in MediaPortal. This way works for all skins that center around the basichome screen and don't have a link to Onlinevideos there.

ok, i've now gotten it to show up under My Plugins, but when i select it, i just get a screen that has the text "#trailerdesc".

any idea why this might be? see screenshot below.

Do you have the proper skinfiles installed from StreamedMP? Afaik they're in the MPI package, but maybe you unchecked them.

i definitely kept them all checked, and even just reinstalled to make sure. still seeing the same issue.

StreamedMP 0.8.448? Try the new RC, it's really stable here. Also got OnlineVideos included so it might fix your problem.

looks like you edited your post, but your included file worked (though my /skin location was in /Program Files/ not /ProgramData/). the only file out of those 3 that i had was myonlinevideos.xml. i didn't have the .details or the .facade files.

but that worked for me. and now i'll take your recommendation and update to the latest StreamedMP.
