    Something I have noticed...

The current version (0.27) works ok with BBC iPlayer.

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.27 (28.11.2010)

Hi, I am trying to add some podcasts to the onlinevideos plugin from the following web address.

Podcasts and feeds: A-Z | Radio National -- adding, for example, this url to onlinevideos <![CDATA[360documentaries - full program]]>

Is this a link which can be used by onlinevideos? as I am having no luck accessing the podcasts.

I know onlinevideos is more for internet video, not podcasts, but I was hoping it could be used for podcasts as well...?

    Cheers

    Watch-series will not download

A new problem: watch-series will no longer download more than 8KB of a video before claiming that the download is "complete". This is the case for every video and server I have tried from watch-series, including a few that I have successfully downloaded in the past. The only exception was one file from Megavideo, which stoped between 30 and 40K.

Everything seems to be OK from watch-movies, and presumably from other sources.

Problems downloading from watch-series and system slowing down

Well, I just did a fix for watch-series, however i can't imagine fixing your poblem, but could you test again?

Yes, I'll do so right away. Some more detail in the meantime: when I tried to watch (as opposed to download) a link, it buffered as "0%" then "Infinity%," then reported an error 404, implying that it couldn't find a link. However, the links seemed to be active on the website.

This morning playback seems to be OK, though. I think your fix fixed more than you realised.

I am still having trouble downloading AVI files. Some report a timeout finding the link, which is normal. I am more concerned about the others. Although the system does not quickly report that the download is "complete", like it did yesterday, the download does crash after 1-8kb. I am able to delete the file during the process, indicating that the download is no longer in progress (I tried this when I thought I might need to be more patient).

I have attempted downloads with this result on about seven files, including two that I have successfully downloaded in the past. The links for those two seem to be active on the website.

I don't fully understand the logging, but it seems to be saying that the link is lost partway through the process. I have attached a couple of samples.

Strangely, this all seems to happen with AVI files. I successfully started three downloads on FLV files, even from the same servers, and the latest of those seems to be working to completion.

By the way, I am still having serious problems with the system bogging down after several successive download attempts without a restart. I realise today that I only need to start the downloads for this to happen. I haven't been able to spot anything strange going on in the task manager; does anyone else have any ideas?

Hi doskabouter not sure if you have released the fix but I still can't get a successful download.

Just on a side note I was just wondering if we can include a feature where saving to favourites it automatically downloads any new releases or series as they come available??

    :D

oh and before I forget, I have been having trouble deleting the failed downloads, Have to go into the file outside of MP just to delete them as OV is not showing the failed download file.

    another :D

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.27 (28.11.2010)

Hi guys Watch_series seems to be having problems again, after my last reply things started working again.
After checking the site I found that there were a lot more feeds than what is displayed in OV. Is there a reason for this? All the feeds listed in OV weren't 100%, but digging in the website it self there were many that were 100%. is there a way we can select the feeds we want to be displayed, Like by name and % ? I know its more codding and your time is short. But I think if we can set preferences for feeds that actually work for us it would be great and maybe less posts about things not working.:p

Thanks if you even consider this.:D

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.27 (28.11.2010)

The feeds are sorted on %, so how many you see just depends on how far you scroll down :)
For the missing feeds, I will check. (in case I don't find any differences: do you have some examples?)
