Hello...

I have the same problem on one of my two computers with mediaportal 1.2.0 alpha. This problem appears only with mp4 or mov videos, and at the end of caching video, MP crashes :-(
With FLV videos, all is ok

hi everyone.
i'm sorry but i have the same problem: i'm usung W7 x64, mepo 1.2 alpha , saf 5 unlocked, and online video 0.28 but when i'm trying to watch an MP4 video mepo creashes.
otherwise if i watch an mp4 with my browser, i don't have problems at all..
i read something but still i cannot find a solution to fix it, so please can someone show me what i have to do step by step?

Open Online Videos Configuration and check out the Codecs tab. What are you using as mp4 splitter?

MizDuilio: Which mp4 file are you trying to watch? I'm using this one:
Haali Media Splitter | 1.10.348.15 | C:\Program Files (x86)\Haali\MatroskaSplitter\splitter.ax

cnk: You need to change the filters merit. It can sometimes be done from the filter settings (like ffdshow) or you can use a software like GraphStudio.

i cannot open all the youtube's files with onlinevideo... i mean all the mp4 files!

so how i can change my splitter?
are you using the SAF 5.0?

I'm not using SAF. I have just installed Haali splitter and ffdshow tryouts.

It's possible to play 720p and 1080p mp4 files from YouTube for me but of course MediaPortal hangs if the network connection is too slow
