    Re: OnlineVideos 0.31 (02.08.2011)

I think you are using the SVN version I attached in first post.
I just found that it already contained a newer OnlineVideos.dll that has non-compatible method signatures (was build on my dev pc). I'll try to fix the mpe installer with the original 0.31 beta file. (will post when done)

I added a modified installer (for MP1.2 RC/SVN) to first post that should now contain the correct dll (hopefully).

I am guessing with "nextPageRegEx" for subcats, you mean that you want to be able to have the user select a next page button while in categories view, just like in the videos view - so you can retrieve paged categories. I know a few sites that do this and so far I've solved this by simply getting them all multithreaded.
Currently there is no paging concept for categories in the API. I'll try to find a way - but there's more to that than you'd expect ;)

    Hello Offbyone,
I'm not sure if feature requests acceptable here in this thread. So, sorry, if they are not.
So, the first one is ability to apply the "nextPageRegEx" for subcats.
Creating "GenericSite" regexps I faced already many times it would be nice.
The 2nd is about rtmp - yeah, sorry, this is it again:
reading this forum, I discovered a rtmp filter is already somewhere over there used by some utils.
Unfortunately, I'm not a developer, and afraid too old to learn all that stuff :) Is that possible to create a variant of "GenericSite" util specialized for rtmp streams?

    ...
and as I told, yet another forgotten thanks to you:
    - an automatic skipping a subcat when only one found! it's a kind of feature easy to overlook but really important one! thanks!

I know a few sites that do this and so far I've solved this by simply getting them all multithreaded.
Do you mean - to build a separate set of regex? Sure, it could be an option. So, pls treat my inquiry as just a "FYI" wish, not a problem :)

Then replace genericsite with rtmp, and put in the missing params
Well.... maybe it would be better to switch to a separate thread?
I've checked some of site utils you uploaded, which use util="Rtmp". And surely have found a partial answer: all those additional params like <swfUrl>, <pageUrl>, <playpath> are to be converted into "fileUrlFormatString" as ?playpath={1}&swfUrl={2}&pageUrl={3}, but:
    1. there are only 3 possible named groups available - m0,m1,m2, so {3} would be impossible...
    2. what if, let's say, swfUrl contains add. GET params as well, with all those "?" and "&"?

With "I do this multithreaed", I meant I wrote my own C# util and retrieved all category pages at the same time.

    New version (0.32) released.
Kind of an emergency release, because some of the dlls posted to the server were compiled against this new version and not compatible with 0.31.

I also update the attached version for MP RC or SVN in the first post.

I love the new feature to download the stream by pressing "record"!

A couple of quick questions though:

    1) Does the downloaded file have any DRM within the file?
    2) Does OnlineVideos delete the downloaded file when it is removed from the online RSS, or does the user have to manually delete it?
    3) Assuming the answer to question 1 is "No" - is it possible to change the file naming convention to the form suitable for the TV Series plugin?

(I am not sure that the TV Series plugin supports .flv files yet though).

Thanks for your ongoing work - it is a great plugin!

1: Don't know for sure, it's the same file you get when viewing it directly
2: No, you have to manually delete it
3: I think that's not going to be easy, and has to be programmed separately in each util.
And the files you view/download doesn't have to be flv, it could be any video-format.
