Make sure you are the first menu level in You Tube - not down in one of the categories. ie the page that has all the categories listed (top viewed etc). Then press right arrow and search should work. It will not work if you are already in one of the categories and looking at the thumbnails for that category.

Hey offbyone - is it possible to capture artist and album or track names as separate tags in music video sites (including Youtube Music)? If you can do that, then I can enable fanart or artist/album images for those views in the skin. I think all the file names are %artist% - %track% so it may be as easy as parsing the filename, but I think most of those sites also provide tags for artist and track anyway.

EDIT: When I first open the plugin, none of the visibility conditions for facadeview.list work. They work fine once I go to the Icons view and then back to list, but not until then. This only happens the first time I access the plugin after loading MP (1.0.2.)

Great stuff, it's fantastic! I love it.

There's only a small problem, I'm using 512kbs connection :-( Is it possible to setup a larger video buffer?
I saw there's a folder specified in setup. Can I download videos instead of stream?

The context menu on a video will show a "save" entry. On the keyboard press F9 to bring it up. Some videos are streams (e.g. mms://) they can't be saved.

I am getting some strange errors with the latest OnlineVideos. Namely, if I stop a video and then, within a second or so, I start another one, MediaPortal totally freezes and there is no way to get back the control, other than by killing it. The log file reports:

Could somebody please help me with this? I understand that, if the TCP connection has not been terminated for whatever reason, MP will not open a new connection, but freezing MP is a big inconvenience.

This should not happen on all videos but only specific ones (I'm guessing Das Erste). Can you tell me what videos you are playing that causes your lockup?

Here are all the sites that I use, together with their behaviour:

CNN, Youtube, Myvideo, AppleTrailers, GameTrailers - no problem
DailyMotion - do not work at all(blank screen). Used to work.
LiveVideo, MetaCafe, VeryFunnyAds, Break, Nasa - freezing MP if fast changing videos
MSNBC, Tedtalk, NBA, Blip.Tv, - freezing MP if fast changing videos (much rarely than the others)
YahooMusicVideos - freezes MP instantly (used to work in 0.9.2 or 0.9.3, don't remember).

How on earth do i use it?

I just have one single unrecognisable file saved to the Hard Drive. I suspect i need something else to accompany it?
