Youtube isn't working at my end too! :(
Running on Vista, nvidia 9600, latest MP BETA, OnlineVideos and SAF

Has it stopped working or hasn't it ever worked?
Here it works still without problem (running on Vista with last MP stable).

I dunno...just installed OnlineVideos for the first time :)
How does your graph look? (and also for TED and NASA live tv while you're at it :D )

Check you ffdshow Video configuration. The FLV1 and VP6 must be enabled for FLV.
Go to the OnlineVideos Configuration and play with the qality setting for YouTube and see if you can play the videos then.

    Allright, I'll check it out.
But I have a 20Mbit line...that should be more than enough for the best quality of youtube video, right?
Or does Youtube use different encoding for the different streamqualities?

BTW, what h.264 decoders do you are using? Becouse Cyberlink h.264 doesnot work here (no error message, graph is builded, but MP seems to hang) - tested on you tube. MPC video decoder works fine.

Your 20 mbit connection is not the cause, it's a codec issue. Cyberlink doesn't work for mp4 (HD and High Quality) from youtube, try setting MPC-HC as decoder for h.264 in MediaPortal Videos Config Section. Try the lowest quality and the file will be an FLV, which is played using FLVSPlitter and ffdshow Video Decoder (if SAF 4.0 is installed). That should work.

If you both have the same system and the same versions of everything, I can only think of an codec merit issue. This means on your friends computer a codec weas installed after another one and registered with a higher priority so it tries to play southpark episodes, but it fails. Getting codecs setup correctly is really anoying :(
