Hi, following issue: When I start a video, the first seconds ( between 5 and 10 ) I can only hear the sound of the clip before the image starts ( ver fast, than synchronized ). If I choose higher resolution, the timespan before image is much longer.

It's not really a hard problem, but my guests starting to push the remote again and again ( every button ) if they cannot see something in the first or second seconds

The most problematic providers are youtube and apple trailers. Is there a way to speed it up? Youtube.fm i.g. handles this much better.

regards

Levi

Then I installed onlinevideos on my main media center PC running Xp32 and Mp 1.02 and it does not get any video.
The list are all empty, youtube, yahoo, funnyads, etc, only mtv works.....
Any idea on what I can check ?
I had this problem after I did an update from a previous version. Same results like you - empty lists for many sites.

Then I uninstalled the plugin completely, downloaded the mpi-package again and did a fresh install. Now everything works great :) Btw. this was also happening on my XP32 installation, with Vista64 the update was flawless...

Perhaps it is an permission issue with MPIInstaller? I cannot install OnlineVideos with a doubleclick or out of the MediaPortal configuration because MPIInstaller does not request higher system rights and I get error messages that some files cannot be copied.

Since that I start MPIInstaller.exe "as Administrator" and then select OnlineVideos.mpi to install. That works for me.

Uninstalling and re-installing the plugin worked! I re-installed the plugin from MP configuration.
The problem I have now is that when I select a video, the video does not start...unless I need to wait a little bit more. It seems I do not have an flv and .mov codec/splitter, so I'll install that and see what happen.
Thanks for the inputs.

    Is apple trailers currently working.
When I load it I just get [...] and nothing else.

My apple trailers loads up but they all play jerky. Other video sites are very smooth. Ended up removing Apple from the list of sites, most trailers can be found elsewhere

    MSNBC content

Found that the content list is outdated for MSNBC. (Business has shows from last year) The latest RSS feeds list can be found here
RSS feeds on msnbc.com - RSS feeds- msnbc.com

I modified my folders in the plugin with the latest RSS list to reflect the changes

    Hi,

I have some problems with apple trailers lately, even with the new 0.9.8. All older trailers work and most but not all of the new ones don't. I guess something has changed at apple and the problem is not codec related. Does anyone have any solutions? Thanks.

I have the same problem.. I hoped, that a Quicktimeupdate fix it ... but it didn't :(

    Anyone an idea?

    regards

    Levi

    Works after update

What update? I am running the latest online videos plugin and downloading or removing quicktime seems to have no effect.... I have jerky playback on apple trailers

This is an odd problem. I am unable to either delete or disable the different choices. I do not need either porn or German, Russian language channels, so i decide to remove what i don't watch and it will not delete them. Hope you can help

I am guessing this is the same issue I initially had with the UI, you must hit save after enabling or disabling the sites on the “general” tab of the plugin configuration. hope this helps...

I did that and it still does not take it, plus it will not remember my Youtube info.
