    Re: OnlineVideos 0.17.0 11/02/2010

    Hi all,
I've stumbled upon something annoying: if you unlock the parental site by entering the pin, this is remembered when you next time open online video screen. so once unlocked its open until MP is closed.

This is a "no go" for me :-( Are there workarounds or config options I missed?

I just tested this and cannot confirm this behavior.
What are your MePo Version, OnlineVideos Version, Skin you are using. How are you "exiting" and going back to OnlineVideos? Have you tried this with Blue3Wide skin?

The behaviour described above is correct. If you enter your PIN and then leave OnlineVideos e.g. to view TV or Pictures or listen to music and then return to OnlineVideos, the adult sites are still shown without entering the PIN again. (MP 1.1 RC1, Windows7 x64, OnlineVideos 0.17, various skins, B3s as well).

Darn it, what's different on my system? (same as you said above). I am in the site view of OnlineVideos after entering the pin. I see the adult sites. I press "H" and go back to the home screen. I select Onlinevideos again - get to the site view and the adult sites are gone, I need to enter the pin again.

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.17.0 11/02/2010

i think i already suggested: you loose enter pin button and put it in context menu.. after mp start, it would say "enter pin", after it has been entered it could say "forget pin" or "lock" or something similar.. i would also stick the new "update sites" button in context menu because there are already (maybe too) many menu items..

expanding the idea, there could be option "forget pin on plugin unload". if checked it would do just that, forget the pin (lock the sites) after online videos window unloads.. if unchecked, the pin should be remembered like now (you enter it once, and never again until you restart mediaportal or click "forget pin" context menu option..

I already have the code that the pin is forgotton in place (since at least 3 versions), and on my system it is working. I just need to figure out why it is not working for you guys! There must be something different either in our setups or how we use MediaPortal.

It works fine with me. Once I exist the onlinevideos and go back again I have to enter the PIN.

A download option is accessable in the context menu of the selected video.

Hmm, maybe I'm a blockhead, but I can not find the download feature. Neither n the preview nor n the full screen video. Using RC1 and the latest plugin, but I have only play similar, add to favourites... no download in my context menue. Checked youtube, and Das Erste.

You have to set a download folder in the config first! How is the plugin supposed to know where to store all the downloaded data ;)
