Is it possible to use this plugin with my own mediafiles through the internet?

Depens on how the server that owns these files can provide the files.
If you have full control over the server a nice way would be:
Microsoft Windows Media Services to provide the files via mms stream so skipping will be possible when playing.
In addition to that a small webservice to provide a rss list of the files on the server.

Then this can be integrated in OnlineVideos as your own site without any coding.

Well then you could do an apache webserver with a small php website to generate the rss from the directories and use the same apache to server the files via http.
But not sure how skipping will behave then. Depends on codecs used, therefore file type and the apache webserver settings.

Youtube does not work with 0.18, some parsing error. Seems like doskabouter already did a fix for it?? Please release :)

    Can't take credit for that.
I repaired an error that did not occur (according to offbyone) in the regular site. Just on some other sites there are links that weren't correctly parsed.

everytime I launch the online videos plugin, it acts like it is connecting somewhere to get some updates for something (each site I guess), but then it gives me a time out error. so I don't know if things are updating or not. I see a few sites go by, but it always times out.

thoughts? anything you need? Logs? let me know..

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.18 (23.03.2010)

yep, that worked. I had to increase it to 120 seconds to have enough time for it all to update. sites that were not working before, now work!!! That is AWESOME!!!

The only downside is that I had configures online videos to only show certain sites. after the update, ALL stes were visisble again. is that what is supposed to happen? Or if I configure it again, will that configuration stick next time?

    thanks.
    this is AWESOME either way.

If the old version was uninstalled before the new install, then the config file was deleted because it is part of the mpi package. Starting with 0.18 this is no longer the case. So any changes you do now, will stick for the upcoming versions ;)
