Well, that is true, but it's not too hard to orientate on the Blue3Wide skin which should be used as a reference.

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.18 (23.03.2010)

Reading about 0.18 it sounds great. I am looking forward to trying it out soon. Just to summarize what I understand the instructions to be, please feel free to add or change if my understanding is not correct.

    • Uninstall all previous versions of OnlineVideos
Go into the main Mediaportal directory/folder:
    c:\program files\team mediaportal\mediaportal or c:\program files (x86)\team mediaportal\mediaportal
In there will be the MPInstaller program. Double click on that, select the Online Videos plugin - Highlight it and click on uninstall.
    • If you use any skin besides Blue 3 Wide with MP1.1 not all features are supported until your skin files are also updated
    • If you use MP 1.0.2 The Blue 3 wide skin files attached as a zip to the first post do not yet reflect version 0.18 updates.
    • To retain your previous site selections backup your "OnlineVideoSites.xml" and restore it after install. After that you can manually or AutoUpdate your sites. AutoUpdate will not add new sites.
    • You will still retain your favorite videos that you bookmarked, they are stored in the "OnlineVideos" database which is not deleted during the uninstall.
    • In the OnlineVideos configuration change the “web request timeout setting “from 15 seconds to 90 seconds or more for the update to be successful.

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.18 (23.03.2010)

I'll update the skinfiles in the first post if I get the time. They currently don't reflect the latest changes.
If you want to keep your changes (enabled/disabled sites) make a backup of OnlineVideoSites.xml before uninstall and restore it after new install. After that yuo can manually or AutoUpdate your sites. AutoUpdate will not add new sites.
Favorites are stored in a database and should stay between installs.

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.19 (29.03.2010)

Doublecklick the mpe1 package again and it should ask to be uninstalled. Or start the MPInstaller from the start menu.

...hmmm, I want to uninstall 0.17 and 0.18, but if I doubleclick the mpe1 0.17 0r 0.18 package, it starts and says "Extension already installed. Do you want to continue?" Saying yes here installes the package again...This keeps happening every time.

And for some reason I can only see FanartHandler, InfoService, MPEIPlugin, MusicBrainzRating, Radio Time and Youtube FM....and not OnlineVideos...in MP Extension Installer
Should I really see more plugins here and should Online Videos also show up in the MP Extension Installer???

EDIT: If I drag and drop the 0.17 or 0.18 mpe1 installer files on the MP Extension Installer program that I've started up first, it says" This is a old format file. MPInstaller will be used to install it!". Also the MPInstaller you say is in the start menu is not there, only the MediaPortal Extension Installer...

    Am I missing something?? :s

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.19 (29.03.2010)

The old format is handled by the MPInstaller.exe found in the mediaportal install dir, and no longer linked in the startmenu. You can start it manually, select to show local extension then right click on Onlinevideos and chose uninstall.

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.19 (29.03.2010)

    Hi there,

Go into the main Mediaportal directory/folder:

    c:\program files\team mediaportal\mediaportal

    or

    c:\program files (x86)\team mediaportal\mediaportal

In there will be the MPInstaller program. Double click on that, hopefully you should now see the Online Videos plugin - Highlight it and click on uninstall.

Its confusing at the moment, as there are two versions of the MP Plugin/Extension Installer (will eventually be one)

    Many thanks,

    J.

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.19 (29.03.2010)

thanks guys, that did the trick!

But when I tried, after installing 0.19, TVgorge and NBA(game previews, ie. Teams: Bulls) it didn't work :(
Do you have the same experience?
    Any ideas?

EDIT: In 0.18 I deleted some german sites from the configuration, but after uninstalling 0.18 and installing 0.19, these are still gone... It looks like not everything was uninstalled...
