ouch. did/do you have any stray yt-dlp processes?

Yes 9 show in task manager.
I did restarted this machine this morning and updated online videos when starting today.
Checked for updats with MediaPortal Extension Manager and no update showed available.

pretty annoying that when I test, eveerything works perfect.
could it be that updating the yt-dlp gives the timeout and after that everything goes wrong...
Can you clear out those processes (or restart machine again) and try watching youtube again?

Sorry to say I restarted and still have the same issue.

• make sure no yt-dlp processes are running
• set timeout to large (5 minutes or so) value
• try again if timeouts and or stray processes occur

Set timeout to 5 min and same issue and yt-dlp leftover.
Ran a trailer from videos and worked fine.

I have timeout set to 60 sec and can not open any videos on youtube.

It won't solve everything but I had to turn off MPUrlSourceSplitter and set 60 second timeout in Online Videos config to get most videos to play. Also avoid opening videos posted in the last 72 hours.

I tried with MPUrlSourceSplitter turned off and on and it plays (sometimes in wrong language) but won't play new videos.

I guess that was my problem, I was trying to watch the latest of my subscriptions.
