OnlineVideos don't work with proxy (1 Viewer)

To surf the internet, I removed the gateway and I configured a proxy on internet explorer. Internet works fine, but I can not see the video with OnlineVideos. If the gateway reimposed OnlineVideos works. Why?
The proxy I use for Web browsing on a small ubuntu server Squid.

OnlineVideos currently requires a direct Internet connection and will not honor any proxy settings of Internet Explorer.

I am doing well with BBC and the proxy server, is there a way to modify the ITV section to include the proxy config like BBC ? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think this is true. In my experience, MediaPortal (like other .NET applications) is honoring the proxy connection (as long as it is not a socks proxy) provided in the Control Panel for Internet Connection.

Are you experiencing something different?

Doesn't matter if OV supports proxies or not (by default .NET Framework gets proxy setting from IE settings). Source filter doesn't support proxies.
