Hey,

I'm at a loss. Out of nowere my onlinevideos plugin will report that it has failed to retreive the URL of the videos it requires to play them. I've updated all my extensions and updated MP from pre 1.9 to 1.9 final. I've changed absolutely NOTHING on the pc nor the internet connection I use. And the websites still function on normal browsers. I have noticed that sites like youtube still load.

What do I do?

Have you done an update of your sites? Goto the OnlineVideos plugin open the hidden menu (typically go left) choose manage sites. In manage sites open the hidden menu an choose automatic update. (I don't no what the names are in dutch, but both of them are the last menu entry in respective hidden menu...)

I've similar issue. Started on configuring a new system (MP Backup restore). Still appears to work on old system, but the new one fails after a few moments with a message "Error starting playback" and "NoDataAvailable". Updates sites seemingly okay, and list thumbnails okay. Likewise I got a video from YouTube to play, but it doesn't any more. 1.8.0.

It would be great if you post at least OnlineVideos.log and MPUrlSourceSplitter.log files or complete MediaPortal logs.

Thanks 'georgius'. Sorry I took a while getting these logs together. Seems Online Videos does capture an error but I can't figure out what it is.

It seems that you have some serious problem with your PC. Even simple things in filter takes a lot of time (e.g. reseting RTMP protocol takes 138 milliseconds, but it should almost immediatelly). In many cases is this situation caused by antivirus/firewall solution, common is Microsoft Security Essentials. For sure check this thread, maybe it helps you.

Remarkable! As I have Windows 8.1 there is no Security Essentials, it's all bundled up in Defender. But it is still fairly easy to configure Defender to skip the Mediaportal process (I added TV Server for good measure) and BBC iPlayer through Online Videos magically reappears! Thanks very much!(y)
