By downloading and adding the newest onlinevideos.zip file nearly everything works for me I havent setup anything! infact the only thing that doesn't seem to work is the Apple Trailers, and thats a petty because I would like very much THESE trailers to work - they are the best

Does anyone have a kind of guide for me to follow - what shall I setup to get exactly the Apple Trailers to work?

I have been too busy to work on this plugin lately. My time is starting to free up and I plan on releasing a new version. The plan is to add your requested features. So far I have 2 request:
1) change the youtube code to use the new api
2) add ability to use Mplayer for all videos.

If you have a request, please post it here and I'll try to add it to the next version.

Does anyone here know how can I get my YouTube favorites to work with this plugin? I've entered my YouTube username and password as per the readme file, but I can't see any category which displays my own YouTube favorites.

That feature was removed because the youtube api was not returning all the favorite videos. The next version will use the new api. I think the new api returns all the videos. You can do a quick test by pasting the following in your browser:http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/{your_youtube_userid}/favorites
and make sure all your favorites are there.

But what about favourites for the other video sites such as daily motion etc.. I see there is a setting for entering your username and pass for dailymotion site but under Favourites / All Favourites I see nothing listed?

I requested the use of VirtualKeyboard2 which allows SMS type remote input. It greatly reduces input time.

I have a problem. The plugin dosn't generate thumbs with the latest svn.
It works up to "MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot: 11-17-2007 00-59h - Revision:16540"
Is it depend on this change "thumbs 17/11/2007 [01:23:01] rtv added: added " 30% faster method for generation of thumbnails. With MP's default settings this will be used for little icon thumbs only." in the next svn after 16540?

I tried to add a site with RSS-feeds.
In the XML-file I added the following section:

This setup will not work. First of all the links you have in there are not rss feeds. You should put the direct xml link like
http://www.zoomin.tv/xml/?cat=Binnenland&rss=true&language=nl&pid=ftv&feedtitle=Zoomin.tv Binnenland

Second, The site id should be 99 for generic rss feeds.

zoomin.tv does not provide direct video links in their rss feeds. The link they provide goes to another web page where you can play the video. Here is an example of an rss feed with direct video links
http://channel9.msdn.com/rss.aspx?ShowID=1

Inside the feed you will find video links like <enclosure url="http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/a/8/ea8545e7-6908-4d40-86c5-8ba029701df2/Guthrie_Silverlight_ForDevs.wmv

In order to play zoomin.tv videos in this plugin, custom code would have to be written to obtain the direct video links.

gregmac45 can you fix the issue with the thumbs in the latest svn.
I would be greatful for that.
