Why do I have only the ONLINE VIDEOS title listed under MY PLUGINS? I do not have anything else listed. Did I do something wrong with my setup, or install?

Else everything functions correct. It is just my menus that are messed up.

I found the problem... now it is okay

So how did you fix this problem ? I also had only one sudoku plugin showing up in my plugin option under main screen. I deleted that plugin and now myplugin is empty when selected in main screen.

If you select lots of plugins for viewing then they all showup in the rotating list. If you select only one plugin, it is listed multiple times and rotates.

Thanks. I found out that by navigating the arrows to the small video window and hitting CR I can maximize it to full screen. Not very intuitive - and for some reason this cannot be done using the mouse :\

still not working right

How do I make OnlineVideos play in fullscreen by default when playing a video?? Like most other video plugins on MP? This plugin seems to be the only one that by default DOES NOT play in full screen.

I still can not get this to work. I can not get OnlineVideos to play in FULLSCREEN by default. Even worse, is that I do not have any button on my Microsoft Media Center Edition remote (version 2) that can toggle GUI and FULLSCREEN.

So close but no solution yet. Has anyone got this working yet?

Why don't you upload this to the MP website instead of hosting it yourself?

Yeah, why isnt it on the MP website yet?? Please update the startpost with the latest download-link, saves a lot of thread-searching...

Still not stable - but a good effort

1) This plugin works most times (not all)
2) It does not have some key options for settings


read back through the posts here. I have been using this plugin for a week now. Not long since I have been using MP for only two weeks (and have spent a lot of time tweeking everything to work well).

The plugin can crash at key times while playing a Youtube video (the end of the video is a key time, and it has a hard time stoping, or even starting if I had been doing something else in MP, but maybe that is MP). It does not play the Google videos any more (someone mentioned a fix, but that should be built in). You can not with stability run FULLSCREEN by default (other video tools do this - like my Music Videos, and My DVD, and My Videos). The plugin menu title should say My Online Videos, not just Online Videos.

Still, most plugins are like this. I would like to see the author build in more stability in the application. What do I want for free?? It works enough, and I can work around the bugs.

Funny, for me it does say "my online videos", in spite of my not checking this option in setup... All other menus appear without the "my" prefix....

I agree that it would be nice if videos started in fullscreen mode, or at least a bigger window (right now it's about 1/5 screen height - makes no sense...).

Have posted OnlineVideos v0.22 on my server, with permission from gregmac45.

Have also updated the installation instructions in the embedded README.txt, but removed the sourcecode to reduce bandwidth. PM author or me if you need it anyways.

this version works and now I am happy watching online videos again.

I have few suggestions if some one is working on it to improve it.

play in full screen by default as others have mentioned

play next video from the list if user doesn't press any keys. (right now it takes few mouse clicks to go to the next video).

if video is not loading (let say 15 sec) quit and goto the next one. right now the green circle keeps rotating when video is not loading and it keeps going even when I go back to watch the tv.

Here's a 16:9 mod that works with bluetwo wide at 1366x768. Just put the two files in the .zip in your MediaPortal\Skins\BlueTwoWide directory and overwrite the old ones. Fixes the overlap issues.

hi benrjunk,

when I use this skin to watch the videos and then go back to watch the tv, the aspact ratio is changed for TV. I have to manually go into settings for tv and change the aspect ratio everything after watching the online videos.

does any one else have same problem ?

My either. I sent him direct email - private message and he has not responded. I think he may have read it though, but not sure.

Any ways just pray that the MP folks will pick this plugin up as a distributable application that should be built into MP. Then it will get better support and maybe a few issues fixed.

I still say for FREE this is the best tool around for media.
