After upgrade to 1.3 - green button (start) on MCE remote start switching between basic and classic menu.
I setup in configuration - GUI settings to use "only Basic Home" - didn't work menu still switch.

I want set green button to return me only to "basic home menu"....this behavior i use in 1.2.3
Try to set button mapping "start" to window/second menu - don't work....may be IRServer can block this.

Could anyone have this problem?
I think use of 2 type of home menu is difficult and i don't need this.

I use MCE remote and have the start mce big green button mapped to basic home. Works fine.

    I don't understand this sentence.

Yes, pressing the start button always take me to basic home.

MP Config: Remotes: Use Microsoft MCE Remote

    Mapping:

    Start
    - All layers
    - Condition: No condition
    - Action: Window "Second Home"
    - Sound: Click .wav

    MP Config: GUI:

Home Screen - Classic and Basic: Prefer Basic

Thank you. It's my system trouble.
    Think have conflict with IRServer:
when i check mapping in MPconfig - button press repeating twice, then i uncheck - mapped button won't work...it's right
I don't now how map the button with IRServer....

You could map the button to the H key in IRSS.

I've always had a lot of problems with IRSS in the past so instead I use both the built in MCE Remote Mappings + an external program called lmremote (For blasting + Remote functions outside of MediaPortal)

BTW - not sure if lmremote works with tvserver blasting, there is a plugin but I've never tried it and it is probably out of date. I just use lmremote to blast my audio receiver for Vol+/Vol-/Power.
