2. TV Card Driver: 1.3.3.0
Video Codec: PCM
Audio Codec: PCM
Satelite/CableTV Provider: Astra 19.2 °E
HTPC Case: none
Power Supply:
Remote: none yet
TV: Panasonic

Actions:
(startet test tool, started MP)
Switch to configuration (F2)
Select Television
Select Capture Cards
Select the only available TV card Medion CTX 944 Quad #1 (DVB-S) card 1
Button: Edit
Select Autotune with the following selections:
Ku Band Config: LNB0 9750
Switch 11700
LNB1 10600

LNB setup:
LNB#1 (selected, other not selected)
DiSEqC: none, LNB: Ku-Band, Tone: None, Satelite: Astra 1A-1D (19.2E)
started Scan

The scan works fine, many TV channels are updated.

Switched to TV channels
Selected ARD
selected DVB-S
all tuning information seems empty

Switched to ZDF
selected DVB-S
the tuning information contains reasonable information.

Stopped test.

ZDF (and some others like VOX or arte) work fine, recording is no problem, most other channels like RTL, Pro7, Sat1 do not work.

Why can't I get the tuning information for all chanels?
I have tried the autotune with separate settings for LNB0 (e.g. empty), Tone (22 kHz. 33 kHz etc).

I am missing Astra 1 G, H, F as selection in "Sattelite" or something like that. Isn't Astra 1A-D analog only?

I have tried several Video and Audio Codecs also like PCM, CyberLink or Main Concpet. The same result, the tuning information is missing for most channels.

Any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Wilfried

A few diseqc bugs have been fixed recently.

    please do the following:

    1. uninstall MediaPortal
    2. delete MediaPortal folder
    3. restart the PC
    4. install MediaPortal 0.2 RC4
    5. do NOT configure it!
    6. applay latest svn-snapshot
    7. run start.bat
    8. restart the PC
    9. start MediaPortal Setup -> Wizard is started
    10. start MediaPortal Setup again
    11. configure MediaPortal
    12. autotune -> Diseqc="none" -> "KU-Band" -> "22KHz" -> "Astra 19.2E" -> scan

you should get 600+ TV and 200+ Radio Channels

    :D

Thanks to infinityloop, the suggested solution worked.
I have installed Version 0.2. instead of a SVN build as this version was just released.
