After a bit of research I've just installed Mediaportal after using XBMC for a while. The only problem I have (so far) is that I can only get stereo 2.0 sound to my soundbar. The HTPC is connected via HDMI to the soundbar then to the TV. The soundbar is capable of Dolby Digital, DTS and PCM 2,5.1, and 7.1
I've tried different sound sources (default sound, HDMI out, direct sound) and they either don't work or only produce 2.0. The source material is an MKV with DTS 5.1.
The same file played through XBMC shows on the amp as DTS 5.1
Could somebody spare a second for a poor lost XBMC user. Thanks.
