Hi, I need help on configuring audio. My HTPC is connected with SONY STR-DG710 AV receiver over optical S/PDIF. The AV receiver is capable to decode AAC, DolbyDigital, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Dual Mono, DolbyPro Logic I/II/IIx, DTS, DTS NEO:6, DTS-ES so I would like the MP sends the audio stream without decoding and let the AV receiver to do the job.

I tried to set the DirectShow filters to S/PDIF but this outputs no sound - the AV receiver did not recognize any stream. I managed only to setup the speakers to 3+2 configuration and Realtek configured for DTS Interactive.

Any idea? Please help me.

Note: I have installed K-Lite codec pack

I managed it already - I configured AC3 filter and ffdshow for spdif and now the receiver gets the stream undecoded.
