Optional to have "video in background" as default (1 Viewer)

...not many people know about this setting. So I'm hoping I can bring this to peoples attention There is a button at the top of the menu (for Aeon it looks like a grid) that turns on "video in background".

Please see 2 screenshots below as an example. I like the idea of having the video in the background, but i have to manually choose it each time. Could we have an option to have this on as default in the config? Obviously it cant be "on" if there is no video being played, but as soon as a video is being played then any time you go back to the menu, it would be nice to have it playing in the background rather than in a *tiny* window in the corner.

What do others think? I think this is a missed opportunity...and with the Aeon bar it looks VERY swish!

You guys know there is a plugin that does this already. The only reason I don't like this feature is that when you are changing through functions, images will flash briefly of the background, I found that to be a bit tacky...

Change your renderer to evr, should solve the flickering background.

And i take it you are referring to the Autostart plugin (newer version).

ah ha! Nice plugin Thanks. Still..maybe it would be worth considering making it an internal feature?

Yeah guys I'm absolutely loving it now... Using multilayer transparent PNGs to create some really nice effects, it's amazing my 1080p freeview running in the background of my menus

Will put out the skin some time soon if any one is keen...
