Origenae vfd doesn't work (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

I've a problem with my new OigenAE VFD-Kit. The MCE-Remote works well now (after I used the workaround for IrTrans mentioned in the MediaPortal Wiki).

But I don't get the vfd to work! I tried the external display plugin with the irtrtans 1.0 driver (connected once to usb - as the VFD kit is connected) and also with localhost as port (because when I start Windows Media Player it askes me if irtrans-server is on localhost. When I accept it, I receive music infos from wmp on my vfd. But Everything I trie to let the vfd work with mp fails!

I've installed Mediaportal 2.1.0, the latest irtrans usb driver and irtrans software from the origenae homepage.

I hope someone can help me.

Ok the problem is solved now. I'ce forgotten to install the port95nt.exe (thought I don't need it because of the origen usb driver). Thx to Koschel from the german mediaportal forum for the hint!

Btw. I've also another question:
I use the IrTrans tab (not the MCE remote & keyboard tab) for full support of my mce remote within mediaportal. I'm thinkinq of buying me the mce keyboard. Does it work in mp (with the irtrans tab) together with the remote?

The MCE keyboard works with iRtrans recivers. But only newer ones. Think they had to be made after feb 2005 or something.
