i second that this tool is way awesome finds titles also and everything
    excellent work

also another hint in order to find the correct title of an epi just name your folder according to http://tvdb.zsori.com/

i had a problem with Jericho so i checked zsori page and Jericho was listed as Jericho (2006) , sg1 also was listed as Stargate SG1. so i renamed the folder and viola worked like a charm

    odin318 just try ccMatrix tool.

its great and it works like a charm ;)

I tried that, but it seem to grab any info from an online database, just my file names. With some of my files names not including proper titles, it doesnt name the file correctly.

Matrix, thansk for the tool though, it is nice.

I tested the latest version and it works very well.

I got 1 suggestion, If the plugin cant find the serie, it sugest a few. Automatically adding miniseries and extras.

I can remove those and everything works which is very nice :)

However, if auto update is turned on the miniseries info is automatically added which is not very nice

Could you make the plugin updater only add new episodes, not series

Please give more details on how to reproduce this behavior, I find it weird that *series* are coming back on their own!

    I just made a 0.3 release.
some bugfixes (one that bothered me a lot on my htpc is that whenever an update is available for an episode it's going to reset the watch flag ... ughhh)
Mainly the biggest change here is the ability to show whatever you want pretty much wherever you want. Just go in the Configuration / display control, and begin typing / right clicking if you don't like the default settings!

Anyway. Try it, tweak it, enjoy it. It should be avail for download soon (I find it weird that any file subscription always need approval)

    Edit:
Actually it's 0.3b. I tested it a bit and fixed some bugs.

@pannivas: Thank you very much ;)

@odin318: The tool will read your episode title from the database of episodeworld.com. If it cannot find your series there it will try to get the name from the filename directly. To get the correct series name it will move up the folders of the file until it has a folder not named something like bonus, special or season. So your problem probably is, that you do not have your files in a folder with the same name as the series. If you have the file in a folder \Download\ it will try to find a series "Download" which probably will not exist. To find the correct episode title it finds the season and episode information from an existing "s00e00" or "0x00" format. If it cannot find that it will try to look for any number with 2 or more digits and interprets it as the episode id number (1, 2, ... incrementing with each new episode).

If zeflash is interested I could give him the source of the renaming tool and the dll (both in C# like the plugin) and he can integrate the renaming function into the plugin itself as a new tab.

    One feature request :)

In the Meedio version and in the previous version of this plugin, it could import images that had the same name as the imported file. Then it would display these images for each file.

I used the thumbnailer plugin which generates a screencapture for each of my shows and it is possible to have an image from each episode. Could this be made into an option in the importer, then we can figure out how to work it into the module.

Great work though, thanks so much!

I am having trouble with the plugin. The importing of all my episode works great, but when I go to the plugin in MP the whole screen is blank. I am using the skin files included in the .zip file with the plugin. Anyone else having this problem?

    MP version 0.2.1.0

ccMatrix i think its better to use http://tvdb.zsori.com/ database since this plugin is using that.

Another question, i am using win2003srv for my file server and the right click function dosent seem to appear. Any ideas why?

    Thanks again.
