Hello again, I hope Im not overstepping any boundaries here and that this in not redundant information but...

... first of all, I have said it before but its worth repeating: this is a great plugin, many thanks for all your time and effort...

... however I am still a bit annoyed by the fact that some series are loosing the first character in their names. I haven't made any programming in the last decade som I am not really familiar with C# or OOP but now I think I know where that problem comes from and I hope you can understand my explanation
In filelister.cs on row 35 you are removing the importpath from the filenames to get a variable with only the actual filename in it. When you do this you remove one extra charachter to account for the last \ that is in the path but not present in the variable for the importpath. However, if the importpath is the root of a drive there is actually a \ in the variable for the importpath and the whole path is removed + one extra character, the first character in the filename.
I am not sure how so solve this since i don't know the syntax for c# but I hope you can use this information to remove this small annoyance.

removing the +1 on line 35 in filelister.cs and adding a new line 36
pair.sMatch_FileName = pair.sMatch_FileName.TrimStart('\\');
should do the trick, at least it works for me

Hi Guys, Is the best place to report a bug? I've already reported this and I don't know if it's a MP bug or a MPTVseries bug. He is how to reproduce:

1.Load MP
2.Select My Tv Series
3.Pick an episode from a series and start watching.
4.Press escape so you get back to the episode selection screen(Episode is still playing in bottom right corner)
5.press "stop" on remote or keyboard.
6.See the bug. A spinning green circle appears in the middle of the screen(Wait cursor) dosn't go away!

Can anyelse verify this? Or am i just loosing my mind. Sorry to go on about this, but it would be cool to get it fixed. Maybe it's nothing to do with MPTVSeries?? But thats where I can re-produce the fault.

MP-TVSeries *doesn't* use the wait cursor anymore to notify an ongoing action, it's just way to intrusive. Instead I use an animated bitmap in the skin, normally located on the bottom left corner of the app.

So, it's not my code that calls that wait cursor on.

Can someone try to repro this problem? Which version of MP are you using?

Just got this great app working the only problem I have is getting it to find Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip any ideas as to what I should call the folder and file names?

you need to go to http://tvdb.zsori.com/ then make a search for Studio 60. Copy and paste the exact name of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip that will be returned from the search and use that for your series folder name and your series file name. I just made a test with it and it worked fine for me.

I will fiddle with Version 6b tonight hopefully. Is there any way for me to get the episode summaries downloaded? If i parse my drives one at a time (About 1200 per drive) will it download the summaries?

No. At least it didn´t work fo me......

Ah I see what you mean... you are right! I didn't understand why it would work for most people.. now it makes sense.
Next release (coming soon) will have that fix. Thanks for investigating it !

Posted here with delay, and available on sourceforge.

lotsa new things.
- fixed parsing for remote drivers (thanks John_Galt!)
- fixed import on huge DBs, putting back batch episode updates (thanks Bobb25!)
- new feature: subtitles retrieval from www.forom.com (mostly for french users like me I guess, even though there are english or other subtitles there)
- new feature: torrent search & download. You need uTorrent to use that feature.

Given those new features are pretty dependent on tons of parameters, I can just hope it'll work for most people, and for a reasonable time. Your mileage may vary, that's what they say
