I'm using MP 1.1 beta on this install and still am having 2 issues with Netflix 1.0.1 plugin.
After closing Netflix viewing window MP does not come back up. I have to double-click on the MP icon to bring MP back up on screen (MP is minimized, does not come back to full screen automatically).
Also, I cannot view the My Dvd list with the plugin. At Home, History, Instant Queue etc all work perfectly yet the My Dvd list never comes up. No error messages. Have redone the authorizations several times with no differences. Using StreamedMP and PureVisionHD skins.
Any ideas as to what to try?
Completely reinstalled... Still when setting a default user, the authorization page gives an error in firefox. When splash screen loads, hangs on plugin initializing until the authorization page pops up in firefox again asking if i have entered my credentials. have to click yes or no to get into MP. Then when finally in MP, click on the plugin just "missing or invalid file:" and that's all.
Hey Antonehenry,
For some reason your error logs are showing its not authorized...

Please dont take this as condesending, Im just trying to figure out which step is failing here... So to break this down, can you verify the following?
1. After install it opens (or you open) the configuration. (Im also taking for granted you have enabled the plugin.)
2. You click on Authorize, and it opens a browser.
3. You enter your credentials into the Netflix site, then click authorize.
4. The browser says you have sucessfully authorized.
5. You close the browser.
6. You click Yes to the "Have you entered your credentials" dialog.
7. At the bottom of the config screen, it says in red "User is Authorized"
Thanks,
Wile E.
Sure. Checked and "Keep MP on top" is checked in setup.
Here are the logs. (no error.log. Just an error.bak file that wouldn't upload)
I do all that. I think it gets tripped up when I go to enter a default user. Cause it tries to authorize again, then I get that error.
Sorry it took me so long to back to you... Yes the folder is there has the following files in it netflix_control.exe, netflix_remote.exe, wedBrowser.exe, readme.txt and folder netflix_player_buttons.Tried the new plugin and I have the same issue has I had before. When tring to play instance movie I get Netflix_remote unavaible. Logs are attached.
Hey tlewers,
Could you do me a favor and check the c:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins folder to see if the NetFlix_Remote folder exists? If it does exist, does it have any files in it?
Does this work with the Streamed MP skin? Do I have to download a certain one?
The one posted on the first thread is for the Theatre skin only. The one posted in the Plugins section is for all other skins, including StreamedMP.
Getting "not a valid movie" when I try to stream anything. Either that or I'm getting an screen that requires me to enter in my login/password that I can't enter since the two programs in the taskbar are keeping me from entering in my information. I have already linked my Netflix account to the plugin. What could be the issue that is keeping me from using instant streaming?
