eloo : latest version v3.1 is working with latest SVNs. You have to rename the specific dll for that.
For your 2 obsevations made before :
- 1) The Popup insert medie dialog: says "medielabel"= number , instead of just the number : the label associated to that is in your setup. So you can modify it....
- 2) The third button on detailed view doesnt have any text : please take a look on the Wiki before posting....
MC_Ita : with new version you can store image wher you want. The PICTURE item of your database must in that case give the fi=ull patname to yours pictures
HappyTalk : multifiles are now manage with three methods in new version.

If you want to update the plugin, I have some ideas in the TODO list :
- a button to launch the AMC software directly in the plugin. Skins heve to be updated...
- possibility to manage the item 'ANT for File Storage Info' : actually on the detailed screen, we can update that item but only for monofile (monofile or plaaylist) but we cann't put multifile separated by';' here...
- manage playlist directly in the plugin (create, update, delete) and of course update the item 'ANT for File Storage Info' (it's already made)

If you want to work on it, don't worry ;-)))

I knocked up an Ant script last night to do the concatenation. Please read description thoroughly! It's avail here.

It's hardwired to use Title & Source fields and must be named as specified, as that's what I use but this can easily be changed in script. Be sure to backup your ant.xml first.


I've totally updated my ant db now and after initial testing all appears fine. Unsure what
"2) possible to define many files separated by ';' in the ANT Storage File Info item. Functionality limited by the item's Length (200c)" means as I've got fields of over 700c (containing 12 items) and it works fine, or is that 200c per item between ;'s ?

PS: Will deffo take a look at plugin code when get time. Have to admit apart from virtual path thingy in titles I mentioned earlier it seems pretty complete to me. Things you mention above on ToDo list seem best done as is in Ant IMHO. I wouldn't want to launch ANT from within MP, trying to use it via a remote on a TV screen. I like the current concept of seperation between editing and using. I update MP's ant.xml on MP machine remotely via laptop. If I wanted to launch Ant from MP I could use the MyFiles plugin.

3.1 and picture path

Hi, at first thanks for the plugin: a very good work.

2 Questions:

1 - In plugin setup then versione 3.1 report "Version 3.0" or i haven't updated (dll date is 1/6/2007 at 7 pm.

2 - using full pathname in picture tag doesn't work and the picture isn't visible.

how i must set the plugin ?

Hi,
I'd like to use MyFilms plugin.
I created my AMC xml file with my movies.
Now I want to insert them in MP with MyFilm plugin.
I'm using Aqua skin because it's much better.
Can I use MyFilm with Aqua skin? Inside skin directory of the plugin I don't see Aqua....

Copy MesFilms.xml and MesFilms_detail.xml from the zip file BlueTwo directory into the skin\Aqua directory and BlueTwo\skin\Media into aqua\Media and it'll work. Maybe some enhancements should be made but it seems to work.

You also have to add the string into yous langage string.xml to have a label on the update button on the detailed screen of MyFilms.

My Films cant find my movies

Hi I created a AMT database and it appears fine in Media Portal, the problem I am having is the movies wont play, it says insert movie number 3 etc. So assume my XML is not pointing to the location of the movie directory? If so what part of the XML do I need to set.

Also, dont know if this helps, I full exported DVD copies on a single large HDD. So they have a directory structure as follows:

F:
<movie name>
<VIDEO_TS>
<AUDIO_TS>
