Hi,
I am very new to this program so be kind. Loving the black & white 1080 theme skin. :)
I have searched through the forums for information on how to add text to the OSD when playing a video. My HTPC is not connected to the net so IMDB is out, but I do have movie collector which stores all info regarding movies that I have. Is there a way to incorporate this into the osd. Or how do I put the text of the movie into the OSD??
I have virtually no knoweldge of how the file sto do this are set-up so any help here would be great.

The video OSD gets its information from the video database.

You can manually edit it via "MediaPortal Configuration" > "Videos" > "Video Database"

There are also two plugin that you can use to organize you videos; Moving Pictures (Requires a internet connection for updates) and My Films (Converts a existing ANT video database).

I would highly recommend you to connect your HTPC to an internet connection. Without it you’re looking at a big manual job whichever way you look at it.
