hoping someone can help out here. I don't think this is a MP issue but more of a network/OS thing
I have TV Server installed on a win 2003 Server and the clients are on xp/win 7. My Server is also used for Email/web/file storage/Domain controller. The TV Server has the timeshift writting to an 8GB IDE drive (nothing else is used for this drive). All other files storage is on a 1TB SATA II drive. OS is on another SATA II drive.
Whenever I put copy a large amount of data (e.g. DVD Movie)across to the file storage Drive on the server from elsewhere on the network, my TV streams are affected for other clients. The network connection is 100MB.
Is there any way that I can prioritize the network output for the TV Stream over everything else coming from the server?
What else can I do to try and trouble shoot this issue.
