    Hi everyone,

I am fairly new to MediaPortal, and have recently built a new HTPC.
I am struggling to get the TV Server side working, so I am offering some cash if someone has the time to help me get it set-up.

If you are interested, please drop me a PM.

I am looking to get TV channels from my Dreambox (a DM800HD clone) available in my MediaPortal installation.

I have the Dreambox set-up and working, with a static IP on my LAN.
I have also purchased the following DVBLink licences, and have configured DVBLink Server:
    DVBLink for Dreambox 4.5.3
DVBLink EPG Loader for EpgData.com 4.5.3
    DVBLink Connect! Server 4.5.3
    Digiguide.tv Premium subscription
I also have a SKYHD box with a subscription and viewing card (not relevant other than to mention I pay for my TV!)

    My Setup
    Windows 7 (32 Bit)
    MediaPortal2 with TV Server installed
    DM800HD - Running an Enigma2 image, with web-server configured

I have tried following the instructions on various forums, but got stuck at he stage where I needed to edit a VBscript file to create a tuning file of some sort.

I can provide remote access to my system via GoToMeeting / LogMeIn / etc.
Can also chat via Skype / MSN / phone.

    Hope to hear from you.

    Regards

    Scoobs.

Have a poke around your dreambox web interface, it uses a format like the following to change channels:

    http://dreambox:8001/1:0:1:0000:9:1000:0000000:0:0:0:

you need to get this url for each of your channels, then add each one as an iptv provider in media portal.

Some info toward the bottom of this page might help you out: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/new-plugin-dreamdboxtv.30069/page-30

I've only done it in mp1 but i'm sure 2 has provisioning for some sort of iptv provider, you also won't need dvblink using this method.
