    Hi all!

    I have a 3year old LG 42" plasma, 1024x768, HDMI input.

For the last 6 months I have tried to make my TV-viewing (PAL) as "fluid" as it is when I use my old STB via SCART (RGB). Now, the TV doesn't support many refreshrates in nativ resolution, only 60, 72 and 75 Hz.

I opted for 75 Hz as this in my head would match the 50 Hz PAL signal best. I think I must have tried a million combinations of rendere, codec, refreshrate, graphics driver etc. All I get is stutter when panning. I guess I'm seeing either a 25p picture or perhaps a 50i converted to 75p or something like that.

I have tried Refreshratechanger, but I don't see any change at all using this.

Does anyone have a similar setup?

50Hz is not an option since the this is only allowed through 720p and the TV does a terrible job scaling this to panel-size :(

    My main source is DVB-T.

I run all my movie playback through ReClock and managed to get a stunning picture without any judder at all, but I don't use it for TV (hav tried, not better, just worse and with audio out of sync).

    :D

If your TV is anything like mine it will accept a 75Hz input but still refresh the screen at 60Hz.

I originally had my TV set up with VGA connection and set 75Hz refresh but when I pressed shift 1 to get the scrolling line it permanantly had a tear in it.
It was only when I had a pc monitor and TV connected at the same time that I realised what was going on - I had a video playing in windowed mode that had a tear running through it on the TV but it disappeared when I dragged the window onto the monitor which does natively refresh at 75Hz.

    Just a thought
