oh i'm sory i thought there are no option cause mtjoernelund asked for changing the limit...

Do you have any diff / patch files instead of the whole source? Do you think it will be possible to use it without adding additional dependencies?

Sorry, but I don't have any patch files, just the complete source. However there is one completly new file, and only minor changes to the others.

By additional dependencies do you mean, adding service dependencies to the TV service? I think the dependency must be added, otherwise the TV service hangs on startup waiting for the performance counters.

I have done some minor changes to the patch, dependencies to other services is NOT needed anymore. Updated files can be found in the first post.

...on second thoughts perhaps people following this thread might be able to help me.

Basically the network monitor function in Powerscheduler doesn't seem to prevent standby no matter what the speed limit is set to. See my full post here.

    Thanks.

hmm, seems a bit strange. According to the logs it doesn't seem that the network monitor is active (there should be a line stating the current idle limit if active). I suppose you did check the 'Prevent standby based on network activity' checkbox as well :p

Please post a full tv.log (remove old tv.log and restart the TV service). Are you using MP 1.0?

    Add error.log as well.

    Thanks for the response.

I had seen the line stating the limit in the tv.log before, and indeed it appears in the attached log this time. The 'Prevent standby based on network activity' checkbox has been ticked the whole time!

I am using MP 1.0.0, the normal version available from the main download page.

There is indeed something wrong here, there seems to be an exception when enumerating network adapters when starting the network monitor.

I'm running the TV-service on XP, and have not tried this patch on Vista. Perhaps there are some differences between XP and Vista. Do we have any Vista users running this patch?

You also have some other strange faults ("unable to connect to slave controller") in the error.log, doesn't seem related to this problem.
