Hi

I wonder if anyone has experienced this or similar issue.

With MP1 installed on my HTPC (Windows 7) when I UNC to my HTPC from my Laptop or other PC and copy files to the HTPC, the HTPC will hang.

Files are being copied to folders that MP1 watches (TV Series or Movies)

If on the other hand I UNC from the HTPC to another device and copy files from the HTPC to the other device, it doesn't crash.

Without MP1 installed, it works fine, no crashes. I have tried various versions of MP1.

All PC's are running Windows 7 and are networked via cable, I'm not using WiFi.

Any one seen this behavior before?

Andy

    Hi

Pending logs, would suspect that the in-comming files are being checked [MovingPictures?] as the come in for format & other media type info and this is clashing with network thread.

Have you tried importing them to HTPC but in tmp directory, then move [so have to be on same drive as watched folders] files into place - see what that does. Also, assume with MePo shutdown, you don't get issue.

    Cheers - J.
