PC goes into standby while watching viseo playback in MP (1 Viewer)

Working with MP 1.6. Standby controlled by Power Scheduler++. Standby set to 30mins. While watching video the PC goes to sleep every 10mins. Possible workaround would be a process - but what process is active while MP is playing a video? Seems no one else has had this problem for years according the the forum. Why now?

Neil,

The behavior is subject to how the power scheduler is set up in mepo. Is standby controled by Windows or MediaPortal? In the former case the PC is indeed going into idle state since no user entry is taking place while watching video. Adjusting the Windows energy profile would then be the solution.

If you can't figure it out yourself, then you may want to upload a screen shot of the PS++ settings.[DOUBLEPOST=1391837062][/DOUBLEPOST]P.S.: even of you are using PS++ standby can be - and most likely is - still controlled by Windows

Workaround was to limit standby to operate from midnite to late pm.

That's indeed just a workaround. The system can be configured to work correctly anytime. But of this ok for you, it will do.

Same problem for me : when windows controls standby it doesn't go standby, when power scheduler controls standby it goes standby even if mp is playing video. I tried lots of different configurations but can't find the solution.
