PC Hanging problem while opening of MediaPortal 1.1.2 (1 Viewer)

I have installed MediaPortal Version 1.1.2 in my computer (HCL P-III Computer, 256 RAM, 40 GB, Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3 (.) After installation of MediaPortal in my Computer, I have tried to open it, but loading of plugins of MediaPortal, my computer is hanging and unable to open MediaPortal in my pc.

Start -> Team Mediaportal -> MediaPortal -> MediaPortal Debug-Mode

Please attach the generated logs in your post.

Sorry but I would say above equipment has not enough memory to run mediaportal at all, minimum would be 1gb of memory

Thanks for your reply. Please let me know, if I install only MediaPortal, which does not include TV & Radio etc., then any chance to run the program with my present memory (RAM) of my computer or not.

No, MediaPortal alone will not run then either.
Also your gfx card must have 128MB VRAM at least, and be directx9 compatible.

I have analysed directX filters by using filmerit and found 36 errors out of 343 filters. The report generated by filmerit is attached for information. I would appreciate, if you could let me know whether this was a problem for hanging my pc while loading the plugins of MediaPortal version 1.1.2. If so, please also let me know as to how I can repair/reload these filters in my computer. Thereafter, I would like to reinstall MediaPortal in my computer for checking the authentication.

No one adviced you to use filmerit.
That is just in Paranoid Delusions signature.

Your PC does not fullfil the requirements to run MediaPortal.

minimum required hardware is:

• Pentium 4 with at least 2 GHz
• 1024 MB Ram
• DirectX9 compatible GFX-Card with 128MB Video Ram

I don't have a word except to thankyou for analysing "PC Hanging problem while opening of MediaPortal 1.1.2" and revert me a satisfactory conclusion that the minimum hardware requirement is not meeting with my PC, it is not possible to open MediaPortal version 1.1.2. But it is needless to mention here that in my PC, I have installed Cyberlink Power DVD version 10, latest multimedia players like Quicktime Pro, Realplayer SP11, Nero Ultra Edition 8 and SUPER © v2011.build.4, all are working fine.
