My PC seems to be a bit sick right now so I am going to rebuild it with a fresh W7 install. I am currently running MP2.2 pre-release (it seems stable, so apart from some minor issues I decided to stay with it). I'd like to keep my settings and media database.

If I copy al the data in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal to a new drive, and then re-install MP2, will this preserve everything I need? Also, should I re-install 2.2 pre-release and then upgrade to the latest version, or can I just go straight to 2.21?

Yes, provided the data can then be found at the same location in your new Windows setup.

You can immediately install MP 2.2.1 without having to install 2.2pre or 2.2 first.
