Are you saying that channels are not found, or that scanning doesn't work at all?
Logs would be helpful. There is a shortcut in the TV Server subfolder of your MediaPortal start menu folder.

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\log\
Vista/7: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\log\

Zip up the whole log folder and post it here...
