Hi People,

I am currently running mpv: 1.2.3 with powerdvd12 codecs registered and used.

I have passthrough on all audio, dts, DD, DTSHD and DDHD etc via. hdmi to my Pioneer lx-71.

The only thing that i cannot wrap my head around is the PCM soundtracks. They are only send out as stereo.

What options have i missed?

/Q

You can try LAV (from the MP Extention Installer) and config them up .. see if they are any better?

I have used LAV, but where unhappy due to issues with flickering and pixelerrors. I am quite happy with CPDVD - just need to find out why it is not working :)

LAV has an audio decoder, you could just use that, along with your powerdvd video codec

Just been thru this. Most amps cant decode 5.1 pcm (aac) so will output only 2 channel.
I am using LAV. Had to untick acc in the LAV audio. Installed ffdshow for audio and enabled only aac. Now set ffdshow to covert aac to ac3.
Go into MP Config and set aac to use ffdshow. Now aac will be sent thru to your amp as 5.1 ac3 which it can decode.

Works a treat for me! Hope it works for you.
