I had discontinuity errors in TsReader very frequently, but could seldom see any problems in TsWriter. I added an exception in MSSE for tvservice.exe, and instantly the errors stopped. I could make them appear and disappear again by removing and adding the MSSE exception, so it was very clear that was the problem.
