Synopsis::

The sound is at full screen tv, out of sync with the picture. The sound comes earlier than the picture. Sometimes this can be corrected by hitting the fast-backward or fast-forward button on the remote, and then "play" .
This happens with multiple codecs.

The only solution I've found for this is to turn off Timeshifting, and then turn it back on.

This solves my sync errors 100% of the time. It would be nice not to have sync errors at all, but at least this fix works.

It is really frustrating, I have it with both Live TV and Videos. When I hit FWD or BWD, and PLAY the both sync again.

Is it a codec problem?
Is it Hauppauge related?
Is it videocard related?
Is it a bug in MediaPortal?

Do you have a VIA chipset? VIA has a documented bug that causes sound to be out of sync with the video , and this bug shows up in other programs such as flash videos, avis, etc. There is supposed to be a patch to fix this, but I've never been able to locate it.
