Pin Codes and Remote Control (1 Viewer)

Firstly, thanks for this fantastic plugin!!

Can you help me with a quick questions?

If I set a pin code in the views/layout tab, I can't seem to enter in when in MP using the numerical keys on my Hauppauge 45 button IR remote. Instead I need to use the keyboard.

Is there a solution to this problem.

The problem is in the way your Hauppauge remote sents the codes over. For numerical pad most remotes sent the exact same codes that keyboards use. Check otherwise in the MediaPortal configuration for your remote control to see if you can adjust the linked MePo codes to match those of the keyboard press.

I actually remember that, for MovPic they ended up adding more REMOTE_CODES support, so I was actually busy scaning the MovPics google code site for the issue in question, so that the MP-TVSeries developers can add the same support. But you can fix it now already by modifing the remote key mapping that MediaPortal supports. What you are looking for is Action -> "Remote 0" for '0', etc.

Even better news, the developer has already fixed it. I'm currently running a test DLL to make sure it works. Actually I'm testing another issue (the ability to get warned when trying to watch an episode out-of-order), but the PIN-code remote code issue was solved as well.

Expect a public release soon for v3.2.2, so keep an eye out on the main MP-TVSeries forum for news on its release.
