Pinnacle pctv 40i problem (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I have a Pinnacle pctv 40i card. When i try to load my tv it says:
unable to create graph.
I use the newest version of mediaportal and i have windows xp.
I hope that somone can help me.

Do you have DirectX installed and a encoder like WinDVR?
