Pinnacle PCTV Hybrid Pro Remote (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, i've bought the Pinnacle PCTV Hybrid Pro tv tuner, and because i've encountered some problems with the Pinnacle Media Center (even if i have got Windows Xp Home Edition), i've decided to use a different media center. I found Media Portal and i liked it. But i cannot use my remote (it's the type b remote) with media portal, version 0.1.0.9. I've tried to modify the profiles.ini file of the application that comes with the tuner and it's used to manage the remote, but nothing so far, the only thing my remote could do is to open media portal. Is there anyone of you that can help me? (I apologize for my english, if it is a little hard to understand, i am an italian guy)

Well, with the code that Dareh posted, i understood that my fault was in the first lines, where it defines the basic instructions and hardware recognization. Now i can set up the key by myself. Can anyone give me the list or a link of the complete map of keycodes that are used in mediaportal?

hi guys, i'm back with 2 another problems. The remote now works nicely, i can explore the program completely, and i'm reprogramming the keys to satisfy my needs. But i can't figure out how to fix two problems:

1)After pressing the button that starts the application, i'm brought to the main screen, and so far it's ok. But to use the remote, i have to click somewhere into the screen. After doing it, it buzzs and then i can use the remote. But i'd like to skip the clicking passage. How can i do? What instructions have i to put into the profiles.ini files?

2)In the code's hardware recognization section, there's something wrong, i guess, because everytime i turn on my computer, the Remote Managing Program icon on the Tray bar is replaced with a red cross, which means it's selected the wrong IR input port. I'd like to fix this error. I need to know the exact code for the Type B Pinancle Remote to put in that section.

Hi guys,

I would like to ask if I can watch the analog TV and FM radio channels using the card Pinnacle PCTV Hybrid Pro PCI. Up to now I have managed to watch only the digital (DVB) channels... Are the analog TV & FM radio supported by this card?
