i chose and click on all WDM section because i have russian windows i'm not sure about translation

with new dll the same situatiom - The TV Card does not support radio

So TV scanning with the BT878 works in TV Server configuration?
- are any channels found?
- can you view them in MediaPortal?

Some logs showing TV Server starting up and scanning for TV on the BT878 then tuning to TV channels would be helpful...

It doesn't make sense to me that BT878 TV could work and BT878 radio doesn't. I'd say that TV will work on the Technotrend tuner, but not on the BT878 tuner. According to the information I see in the graph screenshot that you just posted, your BT878 tuner is not supported at all. It will work in other software for live TV viewing/radio listening, however it can't support timeshifting which means that MediaPortal can't use it. The problem is that MediaPortal doesn't receive the audio because the audio goes directly to the soundcard, rather than passing from the tuner, through MediaPortal, and then to the soundcard.

Looks like you are right.
i reinstall OS, left only pixelview PV-BT878P+FM, reinstalled MediaPortal
TV and FM is not working - sais it is not supported by MP

I believe You understand how happy I am discivering this after:

In general the TV-Server supports:

2. any analog card with hardware encoding on board
3. some analog cards which use software encoding as long as TV card isn't connected to the sound card. This means that the card isn't supported if the TV card doesn't have an audio output which is connected to "Line in" or "Microphone" input of the sound card.

I understand your frustration, however there are reasons that those kinds of cards are not supported. Have a read of this thread if you are interested. In short, supporting that kind of card may mean that we prevent any other software from using the sound card, which would be very bad. The tuners that we support are clearly advertised on our wiki as you have seen. I'm sorry but there is nothing more that I can really say except that I recommend you use the tuner with the Pixelview software, or buy another tuner that TV Server supports...

That is very dangerous for me since you could blame me if I say it is supported and then it doesn't work!

Having said that, I am willing to put my neck on the line. If the card you choose doesn't work then I will help to make it work (within reason).

The AverTV Studio 505 UA also requires software encoders. I can't tell you if it would be supported without logs, but I can say that the Avermedia software encoders are not supported so you would need to find an alternative. You can read more about software encoders here...
