The connection from the TV is HDMI and the connection on my HTPC is DVI, hence I use a HDMI> DVI cable. The Hauppauge 500MCE is a analog TV tunner and I have a analog cable connection (from the cable company) I don't think its an issue with the signal from the cable company being weak, beacause connecting the TV cable directly to the TV and watching TV with out the use of MP, the issue goes away. The issue only occurs when watching TV using MP. Playing DVDs the image quality is great.</p></blockquote><p></p>
