I concur with this issue with MP1.0 and MovPic 0.63. ISO will play, but only on second click. Autoplay of DVDs is off because every time i rebooted the machine or restarted MP, any DVD in the drive would start playing (annoying).

i have the same issue already reported last week in the general support forum and several others indicated thay have the same problem

i have to click play twice before it starts (first time for mounting then for playing)

i tried 3 different versions of daemon but the problem is in MP 1.0 since that is the only thing that changed and before it worked correctly

Good morning and happy new year to ya all!! Got a question: i'm trying to add ISO/IMG files to the dB but in now way i can get them in :(
Could someone explain me how to get ISO/IMG files up and running?

I've tried adding the Daemon Tools directory as removable, but that doesn't work.
I've tried adding all seperate folders of the movies with the .ISO/.IMG files inside.
I've tried adding the rootdir of where all movies are in.
Added .ISO/.IMG tags to MP config, video sections

But still no luck in getting something from the scanner to add the movie :(

    ** EDIT **

How amazing... I just transfered another movie to the watch-folder, go to MP config into Moving Pictures, and all missing movies (ISO/IMG) now show up :)
Prolly Moving Pictures plugin needed some 'reboots' ;)

    Late to the party but...

I think you guys fixed this issue - it may have landed in the latest beta, not sure. I had the same problem. We kind of went back and forth on the auto-play/daemon tool settings in the core MP config. I personally don't think they have any bearing on the issue at hand. Regardless, you guys fixed it w/ a simple conditional check, but again, it may have been in the latest beta.

No matter how often I reboot MP, my .iso or .img movies don't show up in Moving Pictures. Only the movie currently mounted in Daemon Tools 4.03 does (I added the corresponding path as a removable drive).

In MP Videos section, all movies are nicely added during a scan. During this scan I see that MP automatically mounts and unmounts every .iso movie that it encounters in the provided movies folders. Does something similar need to be done (manually) within Moving Pictures editor? Or is it a matter of how these .iso movies are structured in folders?

    My current structure is:
    D:/Films/foldername_movie/filename_movie.iso

Paths added in Moving Pictures editor:
    D:/Films
    K:/ (Daemon Tools)

I just added the following watched folder:
    H:\Movies
H:\movies2 (from an external source that do not all fit my quality levels...)
    D:\ (is my DVD drive)
I do not have the Daemon tools virtual drive as a watched folder.
Daemon tools is set to automount (no confirmation) no secure mode and some other settings (can't recollect at this moment and not near my MP setup)

Ofcourse MovingPictures handles movies and matching a lot different (and much better) than the standard included MyMovies.
I do not know the correct version of daemon tools, but I've read that the latest has some of these issues. You may need to revert back to a previous version.
Also, if and when something like this happens, posting your logfiles (with debug level set in mediaportal) it would help the developers a lot at troubleshooting.

Edit: it looks like your version should work..
Will check tonight (almost homebound) with my mediaportal setup...

Edit2: following is my setup in MP:
    Code:

yes

C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe

E:

0

no

    And movie extensions
    Code:

.avi,.mpg,.ogm,.mpeg,.mkv,.wmv,.ifo,.qt,.rm,.mov,.sbe,.dvr-ms,.ts,.dat,.mp4,.divx,.iso

    DT: Version 4.30.1
Options: automount, check for updates and tray icon are on, rest is off.
    Emulation: all options on
Using XP pro, MediaPortal 1 and MovingPictures 0.6.5
