Playing DVD's not working - Clean Install (1 Viewer)

Found my issue...thanks to the lead from Manfred.

Check that "Play Disc" and "Videos" is enabled in plug-ins.

Thank you so much for posting this. I have done almost everything, changed codecs, reinstalled Mediaportal etc etc. This works

+1 to that! I've been trying to get DVDs working for ages, didn't realise I also needed to have "Videos" enabled - I had disabled is as I use MovingPictures most of the time.
