playing mp3s with ampdroid problem (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am loving ampdroid at the moment. I particularly like being able to turn my tv off and still flick between music. Makes it perfect for when we have guests etc.

However I have only recently switched over to mpextended and the new version. It all looks good and is certainly a lot easier to configure. However it doesnt seem to be working with mp3s.

If I play an mp3 on the PC with my remote it works without a hitch! However if I try and play one on the PC from ampdroid it tells me it basically doesnt have the required codec. This error then occurs for every mp3 I try and play until I restart mediaportal.

I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so how I can fix it?

ok, I will attempt to get these next time I get some time to play (at work at the moment), I was more wondering if anyone else had experienced the issue at the moment. But I guess not

hmm, I went to try and connect last night (to get some logs for the above error) and ampdroid wouldnt even connect, I am unsure why. I am getting an error when I try and attach a log file so I have just inserted the relevant section from my catlog file from my phone.

The IP address hasnt changed, both machines were succesfully connected to the wireless network. I tried using a new QR scan to no avail

finally sorted out my network issue :s

here are the logs for the error:

in these logs I load mediaportal, go to music, play some music from the PC successfully, then load exactly the same track from ampdroid and get the error message (spammed for the entire album) then I play a different track on the PC just fine with my normal remote.

if you need any more info please let me know

no-one has any ideas?

the errors that look relevant seem to be below. It looks like ampdroid is trying to load the mp3 from the wrong location on my pc (Compilations as opposed to Classical (they are both correct folders on my PC, but only classical actually contains this mp3)
