playing new video titles results in a 'watched item' without playing them (1 Viewer)

MP 1.5/Windows 7 Ultimate 64

Hi all,

after a recent Windows update yesterday
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (KB2858725)

suddenly my new video items were failing to play and as a result appeared as watched items and turning to the watched item colours.. Upgrading to MP 1.6 did not help and I had to turn back with a system restore to the state previous to the update.
Anybody with simular problems and solutions or a possible expanation?

hey guys? First time nobody replied or shared their wisdom..

I found out myself that the problem occurs when I select my TV as the sound device.. probably it can not handle surround sound.. With videos with simple stereo it will play without problems..

Anybody got a solution for this?
